Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks and providing support to staff. 
This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage office staff, ensuring effective team collaboration and performance.
  • Oversee clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling correspondence.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist with human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and liaise with vendors for procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
  • Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proven experience in team management and supervising staff members.
  • Proficient in clerical duties with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices is advantageous.
  • Competence in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
